Behind this landmark building, Senyuan Furniture, with its outstanding design and exquisite craftsmanship, is responsible for the creation of all fixed furniture in the guest room area of 1 Hotel Melbourne, injecting soul into the hotel.
The hotel features 277 guest rooms, including 36 suites, each designed as a serene retreat that blends natural beauty with modern comfort. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the rooms with natural light and offer tranquil views of the Yarra River and Melbourne's skyline.
In the guest rooms, the furniture is crafted with inspiration from the shipyard's characteristics. The headboard resembles a ship's sail, made of rough yet soft canvas material that showcases unique textures under the light; the bedside shelving is transformed from ship anchor chains, exuding a rugged and industrial coolness. Lying in bed, one can almost hear the howling of the sea breeze and the stirring sound of the ship breaking through the waves.
