For Yas Plaza Mangrove Hotel by IHG, this renovation is far more than a simple replacement of old facilities with new ones, it represents a profound evolution of the “luxury resort” concept. As an iconic property on Yas Island, the hotel embodies rich regional character through design elements such as traditional Middle Eastern geometric patterns, while its proximity to key entertainment and commercial hubs enables it to effectively cater to a diverse mix of guests, including business travelers, families, and leisure visitors.

The hotel offers a full range of room types, from standard rooms to luxurious suites, to precisely meet the diverse needs of business and leisure travelers. Adopting "regional adaptability + all-scenario comfort" as its core design philosophy, the guest rooms integrate rest, work and viewing functions through rational furniture layout. The walls and headboards are accented with palm leaf patterns, subtly echoing the mangrove ecological theme. Extensive use of solid wood furniture paired with woven rattan textures creates a spacious, elegant visual effect through clean, modern minimalist lines. Complemented by soft warm lighting, a cozy and comforting atmosphere is crafted for a delightful stay.

The guest room lounge area continues this design language. The chair features a warm wooden frame with off-white fabric upholstery, and its backrest is integrated with delicate rattan weaving, echoing the natural elements in the space while combining aesthetics and functionality through smooth lines and ergonomic design. The coffee table, with its rounded wooden shape and delicate wood grain texture, harmoniously matches the chair in material and form, jointly creating a relaxed and pleasant coastal resort atmosphere.

As the core piece for spatial storage and display, the TV cabinet features a warm wood frame. The rattan cabinet doors on both sides retain the warm texture of wood while enhancing the resort ambiance with natural textures. The lightweight curved legs at the base reduce the cabinet’s sense of weight and improve visual airiness. The combined layout of open compartments and closed storage areas meets functional needs while conveying a natural and sophisticated quality, perfectly matching the tone of the overall space.
THE EXTENSION OF RELAXATION
Each guest room is equipped with a private viewing balcony. The layered textures of the furniture inside the room blend naturally with the expansive scenery outside the balcony, extending the "leisure stay" experience from indoors to outdoors, and turning every detail of the furniture into a comfortable backdrop for the vacation.
